This week's JIN outlines the content of the brand new J at pan Inc
magazine, fully available online.

J-SOX SOFTWARE
J at pan Inc's latest magazine sees us going back to roots with the
inclusion of an IT special feature. Initially called 'Computing
Japan' we have always retained a special interest in the IT
industry and many readers know us for our coverage of IT issues.
On the cover of the latest magazine we feature Derek
Titterington, MD of OpenPages, a firm that have created a
software platform that helps companies adapt to the new
compliance environment in Japan, in particular, for J-SOX. To
read about the background to J-SOX legislation as well as to
find out the details of the platform, visit:

Kitanaka has written a snappy overview of business and consumer
trends in the IT market in Japan.

INDUSTRY ANALYSIS
Elsewhere in the IT feature, industry veteran James Mok provides
his insight into how the IT industry in Japan is destroying the
talent and potential of its younger workers. Mok sees a series of
spirals as suffocating the next generation of engineers, managers
and innovators:

CANCER TREATMENT INNOVATION
We are also running in this edition an article about an exciting
new treatment for cancer. Two doctors from Kyoto have
co-developed a form of treatment using, Amplified Natural Killer
(ANK) cells, a variety of lymphocytes. This treatment has had a
good track record and the risk of side-effects is considerably
lower than in chemotherapy or radiotherapy. For those wishing to
find out more about this therapy we have set up a special enquiry
email address (cancertherapy at japaninc.com ) and we have been
asked by the clinic offering the treatment to advise readers that
for detailed medical information they will need an interpreter.

For those interested in the recent political rumblings in Japan,
our article on Mr Ozawa and the fortunes of the DPJ comes from
Tobias Harris, an expert analyst who has spent time working at
the heart of the party. Tobias neatly manages to identify the
problems Mr Ozawa's electoral successes have brought him and
